Punto (Mk2/2b) My Fiat Punto MK2b

Introduction

Here is my Fiat punto MK2b ( Frankie ) , bought a couple of years ago as a dynamic model , over the past couple if years while learning to drive i have been slowly modifying it, some big changes have been the ssporting bumpers and sporting alloys ..

CAR SPECIFICATIONS:

- Model : Mk2b 3 door
– Engine size : 1.2 8v
- Year : 2005/55
– Colour : Azzuro lagoon

ENGINE MODIFICATIONS :

- Powerflow Custom stainless twin exit exhaust


INTERIOR:

- Headliner / pillars covered in faux suede
- Interior light surround painted white
- Sporting steering wheel

EXTERNAL:

- Fiat punto sporting front bumper
- Fiat punto sporting rear bumper
- Smoked side repeators
- De- badged wings
- Heko wind deflectors
- Fiat punto sporting alloys finished in gloss white
- Debadged grill
- Front calipers painted blue
- rear drums painted black
- Lego dust caps made by myself

CHASSIS:
- Toyo proxes T-1R all round

FUTURE PLANS:

- Lower 50mm with spax springs ( waiting to be fitted )
- Foot well neons
- maybe fit the sporting side skirts i had colour coded but im not sure weather i like it with or without them .

Looking at getting a new car very soon .
Save starting a new thread out of interest

How much would you say its worth ?

Should I remove the mods and sell them separately?

Should I trade it against a new car or sell it privately?

The car currently has 47, 000 miles and is very tidy inside and out .

Definitely put it back to standard spec, it'll make it far easier to sell.

It's entirely up to you if you p/x or sell privately: if you p/x, you'll get less money for it, but it'll be far easier than selling privately; whereas if you sell privately, you'll get more money for it, but you'll have to wait for someone to be interested in buying it, plus people will be far less likely to buy a car off a young bloke, for obvious reasons.

As Puntofan01 said, probably get more for it 'stock' unless you find someone that likes it as is which is entirely possible :)

I'm looking to get a Ford focus St 225 in performance blue. I'm going to see what they will offer me for.my car if not I'll advertise it local at first in the papers .

Failing that I might give / sell it to my sister so she can learn to drive in it.

I will remove the mods most probably and see them on here .

I'm going to see how much I would get if I traded it against my new car , if it's not what I was expecting I will just sell it privately or give /sell it to my sister so she can learn to drive in it.

2 years ago, I traded in my fairly tidy 2004 Punto Active 5 dr, completely factory standard spec with 60k on the clock for a £3995 Grande Punto, and the dealer gave me £600 for the mk2b.

That's the thing , I think it worth more sentimentality so if I get offered that I will just like I said earlier sell it to my sister and the I can always have a drive every now and then. Failing that I keep it but it would only sit on my drive and hardly get used which is a waste for a car.

To be fair, you could say that about most cars though. I'd imagine my 2008 Grande Eleganza is barely worth 2k monetary, but to me, it's absolutely priceless. Likewise you and your mk2b.
 
Well this is it, the end of an era .

ive bought my focus st , picking it up on sunday.

For the moment im keeping both car and my sister is learning to drive in it and my dad is using it for work to keep the battery topped up .

I am going to be putting a classifieds add up for a few bits i have that i no longer need .

ive got a un-used set of eibach sportline springs which i bought from demon tweaks last year which have sat gathering dust since then , if your interested drop me a message
