Grande Punto My 2008 S2 Grande Punto T-Jet.

Introduction

Hi all,

after being on here for a while, but contributed little, so thought I would say hello and show off my car.
It's a 2008 Series 2 GP T-Jet in New Orleans Blue with "soft touch" indicators, Rear parking sensors, 5 spoke, two-tone alloy wheels and the italian flag side stripes.

mod wise @ purchase, it has smoked rear lights, EBC grooved and drilled discs teamed with EBC Greenstuff pads.

Since I bought it I have installed new Bosch Aero wipers all round, new Pirelli P Zero Nero GT tyres all round, installed a vacuum boost gauge, replaced the ARB drop links and new gearbox oil.

On the update list is to install a forge intercooler, forge swaybars, an abarth (or equivalent) GP exhaust system, VL36/8 turbo, remap, stiffer springs (may already be done), teamed uprated shock absorbers (possibly Bilsteins)
Hello mate very nice looking GP I do like this colour very much. How about some smoked side repeaters to match nicely with your front and rear lights.

Regards
Stephen

Where abouts in Bristol are you? I'm sure I saw this car for sale up near wotton-under -edge? (i'm from Thornbury)

Was very jealous as I had just bought my grande for the same price as this was advertised and it looked tidy!

It was. I bought it back in March, very nice car, I think it had the angel tuning fast road kit thing as it's rapid and looks lower than normal, could me me I dunno.

I'm in Whitchurch but commute to Avonmouth every day.

Did you buy the one in Bath that was the same age?

I love it, but ever since I had it occasionally it doesn't wanna go into first and is quite notchy, and crunches into fourth if I put my foot down:/ possible new 'box?

I got mine from a dealer in Yate. They were advertising an active sport online but on the forecourt they also had a dynamic sport with a sunroof so I went for that instead

I also had trouble getting into first gear just after I bought the car. Changing the gearbox oil sorted it and its not been an issue since

Fair enough:D. What about you, where about do you live? I can take you for a spin in the 'jet or something.
I tried that, it didn't help:(

Shame about the gears. Knew it was probably the first thing you would check :p

I live near thornbury, not sure if you know it. I commute to bath every day. I've heard of Whitchurch but not sure where it is lol. Me and Sweex want to get out and have a drive soon. He's from Stroud and has a ridiculous T-jet :D

If you're on Facebook join the group punto enthusiasts as we've been trying to organise something on there for ages
