Grande Punto My 2008 Eleganza :D

Introduction

I just thought I'd share a picture of my pride and joy. I've had it just over a month, and it's absolutely superb!! :D
I went out with a mate in his Brera today: I must admit, it was surprisingly comfy! That said, I wouldn't want leather sports seats in any car, lol! I definitely wouldn't fancy controlling 200 bhp either, lol!

Reading a Top Gear magazine from 2015, (I have quite a backlog of reading!) and in the Lifers section, they had just taken delivery of a brand new Audi TT. A few of the optional extras which they had specified on it were as follows: Bluetooth, rear parking sensors and climate control.

Now I know that german cars are notorious for their stingy standard kit levels and rip off options lists, but for those 3 things to be optional extras on a TT is crazy! All 3 pieces of kit were fitted to my ageing Grande AS STANDARD!!!

Hello there,

I have a just purchased a grande punto elegaza too, only trouble is it did not come with an owners manual, I am tring to locate the fuse for the internal fan/blower, would you be able to tell me the location of the fuse pretty please

The Grande had its MOT, a full service, a new sump and was waxoyled underneath today. The only advisories were exhaust pipe related, and there was a nail in 1 of the tires, which was repaired. I'm happy, and very relieved, lol! :)

Good to hear an update!

Did you Waxoyl it yourself?

Been meaning to do this to my Panda for over a year now :-(

Today marks 3 years since I got this beautiful car home, and I must admit, I'm still immensely impressed with it! So far, I've covered 15,500 miles in it, and I still find it a comfortable and enjoyable car to own and drive. :)

@ Sweenstar,

maybe some forumers would have appreciated an update about your fan fuse location issue ...

On Tuesday, the Grande had new rear shock absorbers, and a new oil pressure switch. Fingers crossed, that's finally cured the minor oil leak it's had for a while.

I don't know if it's just the placebo effect at play, but it did feel different on the fast and twisty bits of road on the to and from a banger racemeet today. "Perfectly decent entry level hooliganism": I'd agree with that, lol! ?

I think the electrics will die on my car before the engine does, lol! Hopefully that won't be for a few years yet though! Yep, here's to many more years of happy Fiating! :)
