Haha same, I was worried about the colour of them looking good with silver
Also the rear lights have a few light coats of black plasti-dip
I went with a ripspeed air filter with the hoses from auto silicone hoses.com it sounds dead good! And I didn't use plasti-dip for my rear lights because I wasn't sure if it was legal or not for mot's so I used fly eye tint, well worth tinting rear lights and Windows, makes it look a lot better! Have you got any future plans for it?
Nice! Mine was a cheapy ebay one and I tried that fly eye stuff yesterday on my front lights but had no luck with it. And I'm out of ideas, just little bits like red calipers, swap the footwell LEDs to red and tint the rear windows
Fly eye tint isn't easy to do on headlights because of the curves, I tried and failed it lol, you can't go wrong with red calipers, I've done that, nice and easy make sure you clean them properly before hand and sand them down, I only did 2 coats and they are pretty much perfect, I'd love to put red footwell LEDs in, I may have to
Yeah exactly, I thought id have to take the headlight out at one point! And just had a quick look at your thread and red calipers do set the car off nicely, also the footwell lights are a must! They seem complicated to do but with the guide on here they are simple as!
Yes they are really nice, wish I had the black or grey alloys to make them stand out more! I'd like to wire them to the interior lights in the car but it does look quite tricky in some places, how have you done them?
Black alloys on your car would look mean, especially with red calipers, and yeah that's the way I've done mine, when the interior light comes on the whole car lights up it's amazing in the dark when you unlock the car, it just glows!View attachment 140859
Yeah that's what I want, but I've seen a few black gps with black alloys and unless there clean they don't look right, and yes! It looks amazing! Was it hard to do? It might be the next job for me next weekend!
Any chance for a step by step on how to prime it etc ready for spraying
Looks great mate just not sure how it ties in with the silver/blue. That aside, great job
