Introduction
So after getting some help from the forum I decided I should give something small back, and since everyone always loves pictures heres what you have helped fix.
After a e36 and 320d bmw and a long stretch without a car I decided to go for something I can get cheapish and still has style. There is very few stilos around so after spotting one I paid more attention to them. I then had to buy quickly so couldnt shop around. But still got lucky and managed to get the car for 700euro and spent another 700 (including getting nct etc..)
Its a 02 1.6 active and 80k miles. As I said I had some problems which this forum helped me fix (MAP sensor still pending). So then I was able to do some subtle things to improve the look.
-Debadged
-Color coded bumper strips and wing mirrors
-Got a spoiler for a tenner from a scrappy which had to be repainted and tigersealed on
-Wobble bolts & spacers for the alloys
-Badgeless grill which needed to be resprayed along with the bumper inserts.
Not much to show, but for the little money its a great deal. Future maybes are leather interior and slightly lowered. But having previously drove lowered cars I dont know if I can take the drawbacks. I may just buy thicker tires to fill out the archs something like 225/45/r17s.
