Grande Punto My Green '06 Grande

Introduction

This is my 1.2 Active Grande Punto, owned now for just under 5 months, I love it, just like all the other Fiat Family cars, I also own an '89 Lancia Delta and had a '00 Mk2 Punto before this one. So far all I've done on it is sort a new grill badge - the original was cracked, and added an aux for the stereo and a Pipercross panel filter.

I plan to add Punto Evo Trims this Christmas and some Osram Nightbreaker Plus bulbs pretty soon.

Ah the essentials LOL

Just had all that done myself, less the tyres :)

Ahhh nice, yeah I thought it was going to come to about 400 but forgot to factor in VAT and a there were a few niggles I knew needed replacing but forgot about and I only thought one of the tyres needed replacing (there was a small cut in one tyre I has seen but forgotten about) :bang:

So that pretty much made me broke until after xmas so no more mods until then

What does your interior look like? Some grande interiors look great! My car comes with factory fitted carbon fibre style interior and I think it looks fantastic (I know ill be biased but it's my favourite of the official interiors). Some people have used carbon fibre vinyl to wrap their interior to create the same or better effect. It's worth a look into but it might not be everyone's taste.

The brushed metal look is also very nice. I think it's the standard on the active sport and sporting versions. Have a look. In my honest opinion don't go down the corsa D route. I looked at corsas before getting the punto bit found them (especially the interior) fairly boring

Not the full interior including dash trim etc, I'm just talking about seats, and mine are black with white dots on and look cack :p

Right. Plan of action:

Sporting side skirts

Sporting Spoiler

T-Jet multispoke 17" alloys

Red badges all round

Corsa D or Alfa 147 seats

Do something about the godawful, non-matching light grey rubbery bit of the dashboard

Private plate

Re-black mirrors

Possible lowering

That's it...for now :p

Haha yeah I realised that this morning! Damn Saturday nights!

Yeah I know the seats you mean and yes I have to say they do look cack. 147 seats (I prusume you mean the leather ones) would look ace! And I think someone has done it on here

Guys, I'm still looking at interiors and have seen Jamie's and like that, I think it will suit the green of my car well, however I'm thinking of going for half leather, with the base and back parts being black cloth and the bolsters and headrests in cream leather:

If anyone fancies photoshopping these to give a better idea, that would be massively appreciated.

Also, I have fallen out with the rubbery grey bit of the dash and will be having this flocked in black pretty soon.

Thinking about swapping the plate on my Delta onto the Punto before I get rid of it :)()

Does anyone have any idea how soot has gotten to be on the outside of my exhaust clamps? It's blowing but I can't see how it got round here :/
