Hey guys its Ferret! I'm back:) some of you may know me from my Blue MK2 Punto, I purchased myself another Punto on the 14th of September 2013.

So here she is! Meet Bumble guys!

First of all, sorted insurance and everything out! She is a MK2 1.2 16v Sporting, 6 speed gearbox, 10 disc CD Changer! 67000 miles on the clock, full service history, just had Cambelt / Water Pump / Clutch done, 2 owners, in Broom Yellow!

My first job on the list.. Transfer a few mods off my old MK2, so here's a picture of the Puntos in my half built garage!

Time to get started!

Here's a few pictures taken in the progress! @ysidfa taking the old puntos bumper off to get to the angel eye headlights!

Now for a stripped old Punto...

Replaced my new Punto lights for my old angel eyes! And put the standards back in the old one, now for a picture of the angels fitted to the new motor!

Next up was the good old Wind Deflectors! Here's a picture of the new motor with them fitted!:)

Now for a lit up angels photo!

I'm so happy with how it looks and is going at the moment! I'm in love with my new car! So pleased to be back on this forum and ready to post the progress as it happens!

So far faults I've found with it:

- Has no rear inner arch lining both sides

- Rear window has a few lines not working

- Standard Sub isn't working

- Gear Knob fell off so need a new one as its lift to reverse!

- Exhaust is cable tied at the back instead of a bracket

I have already ordered the rear arch linings and exhaust brackets, am in search for a nice gear knob.

Now for the modification list...

- Black Sporting Alloys

- Air Filter

- Dark Smoke Tinted Windows

- Lowered on Coilovers

- Head unit

- Sound System

- Remote Central Locking

- Smoothed Side Strip

- Black vinyl between windows removed

- Smoothed Bumpers

- Centre Exit Twin Exhaust

- Colour Coded Wing Mirrors

- Smoothed Door Handles

- Tinted Side Repeaters

- Alfa Black Leather Interior

- Smoothed Bonnet

Will all be eventually / future plans, will probably add / change this list as things go on!

All opinions are Welcome

Thanks a lot!

Today I've received my Remote Central Locking Kit, a few cleaning products and my Exhaust brackets! Will be fitting them over the next few weeks on my days off! Cant wait to get this project rolling!:)

didn't the sportings come with remote central locking as standard, mine had it from new in 2001 (bought new) and my sprint blue one had in 2002 (bought new) and my mums active sport has it (bought new in 2003 and still has it with 21,000 miles on the clock).

do miss my old sportings was my fave cars ever owned. look forward to what else you got planned

Mine doesn't seem to have it, got a few subtle mods arrived, will be done tomorrow as it's my first day off work since owning it, nice clean up, coilovers and head unit on payday I think:) I'm so happy with it, that 6 speed is amazing!

Just gave it a clean and a polish and decided to take a typical garage picture:)

Ordering myself some Coil overs on Payday:) got a fair few plans lined up over the winter:) I'm currently claying the whole car, polishing it, waxing it, back to blacking it and putting some tyre dressing on:) will upload a picture once I'm done!
