Grande Punto Gotta love a Bargain!

Introduction

I've picked up a bargain, £50 for a set of four 18" BK Racing alloys which seem to be in mint condition because they were used on a show car at carisma cars (I may of spelt it wrong) which rarely moved from the show room! If i do decide to keep these i might spray them black or gun metal.

I might put them on my Punto, but i've obviously gotta buy some tyres for them:bang: But I've found some good ones which are £72 per tyre which have pretty good ratings on them! :p

But enjoy the pictures and let me know what you think!(y)

i think they look good mate, especially for £50. I'd be tempted to get them done in a darker grey or something but that would be making cheap alloys a lot more expensive lol.

Was thinking of getting them in a gun metal grey colour! Not so bothered about paying for sprays or repairs due to that's what everyone in my family work as! But hopefully these temporary alloys won't be on for long :)

18" on your GP, youch. Do-able, but i've heard bad things about 18's on the lower engine GP's.

They look fantastic though. Definitely get them in dark anthracite or something i reckon. You have some nice wheels to sell at some point to recoop money for getting abarths or forked sportings though if you do decide to not keep them. They are beautiful though!

Looks like i'll have to rev the nuts of my GP to get it off the start line then?:bang: And defiantly, don't really like the silver.. looks too standard! And what do you think about these for abarth alloys? Used to be obsessed with them before i even got my GP, but they aren't dark alloys.. that's the only problem (n) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121166142201?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2648

Personal taste at the end of the day. I've never been a fan. The only nice Abarth alloy in my book are the ones i'm lucky enough to own. Well, the EsseEsse ones are nice, and the 500 and 595 alloys are beautiful, but the AGP got the uglier ones IMO.

Dark anthracite though :slayer:

I don't think you realize how jealous i am that you all have them, i have had 3 quotes and deals on them, which came off as 620 minimum and i've already spent alot of money replacing everything to double make sure she runs perfect(n)

Those who have them know how lucky we are to get hold of them lol. I had jwalshy200 asking me last night how much i'd sell them for to him, was tempted to say £1500 :D Patience, a bit of luck and having the cash ready to burn when they come up. Thats what you need to get some it seems (y)

When you own a car you end up throwing money at them, whether its cosmetics, running cost's or performance mods. Thats what owning a car is for, especially if your on a forum like this. Your constantly surrounded by ideas and someone saying "yeah, go for it. You won't regret it!"....so you burn more money.

Its worth it though.

In your situation now. I'd get some rubber, get them in dark anthracite, make sure my car was on Eibach's (anything other than standard) and admire my car for all its worth!

I'm going to rob a fiat dealer for them if that's the only way i can get them;)
But to be honest, being attached to this forum it just makes me want original fiat alloys because having other after market alloys just feels like i'm out of place! Don't get me wrong i love being in a different ball game being different but with these wheels i'm attached to wanting fiat ones! Shame my original alloys are ugly (n) There's a few GP's in my little town recently but they're all original standard abarth's or sportings.. But i guess i'll have to do my own thing and make my car my own.. Just so jealous of you all that have them ones:( How much did you get you'rs for?
