Introduction

Well if you like the look of those pictures have a look at these, once we stripped some more paint off both rear wings we discovered the need for more metal work.

See what you think!!!

These are all I have of this area at the moment, but I'll post more as we progress.

Yes I can weld and fabricate but I only have a small work shop and space is premium at the moment.

For some reason I'm not able to post these pictures direct to this thread so you'll need to click on the sites shown above!! Sorry.

I'll up date as we progress.
That's a lot of filler covering a multitude of bodges and we know that the person who had the work done was more than likely well and truly taken to the cleaners, that's going to be a long project I've had my project up or the roll over jig for 5 months now and am still fabricating and welding on the last wheel arch then I've still got to make new floor pans and fit them but i did have to take time out to weld up and spray my Rover 220 turbo Coupe so guess i'm not doing too bad!
Hope you can stick with it and bring her back to health.

It sounds like you have a fair bit on yourself that rolling jig also sounds like a good idea I wouldn't mind one of those myself.

I don't think I've landed myself in it, it was something we chose to do so we'll keep plodding away it's just sad that previous owners didn't apply a bit of TLC.

More Later

Cheers

This is it, simply fasten to your bumper mounts, easy to make and so much easier to work on the underside just got to make your bumper mounts completely sound to start with. It locks off with a drop in pin through holes drilled in the shoulders, lift one end of the car fasten frame on with locking pin in put rope tied back to the car and bottom of frame then you can lift the other end and attach frame then put the bottom tie bar in and your done.

Agree with the above member it's does't look bad but it requires more hardworking.

There is a great deal of work to get that back on the road and a lot of fabrication skills would be required and I suspect around 2 years work I know from my personnel experience it's a long haul (over a year of 10hrs a week and still going).
Are you still going to do it as this thread went very quite I would love to see an update.
