Introduction

Well since the 306 was missbehaveing , i think it ran out of cheese ...

so i got told about this Stilo for sale of a Good friend of mine and hes legend of a dad was selling it so had a test dive and said i want it if the insurance was cheep enough so a quick call and it was a massive £4 more .. so went for the car today the car will be used for my work horse (y)

Well shes thew her toys out of the pram today

clutch peddle just drops to the floor , i think the Slave cylinder has pooed it self and lost all its pressurre and flud

Check the fluid level in the combined brake and clutch resevoir.

The clutch fluid take off pipe is higher on the resevoir than the brake fluid pipe so that the clutch stops working before the brakes do. Simple safety precaution.
.

I don't think it clicks , I'm over 120 miles away from it now lol ,
I also think its the standard clutch its a valeo one that's fiat stamped ,
I've got a new valeo clutch ,valeo concentric slave and new brake pads as mine are quite low on stopping stuff ,so after I've spent all this money on her she better pass her mot end of Nov

Really glad to hear that you fixed him! (y) a lot of people might well have thrown the towel in and sent there car to the great scrapyard in the sky with the prospect of undertaking a clutch change so nice to see another one saved :) good job!

ha ha once the box was out , and i seen the clutch and slave was errm well broke i was like FFS More money lol ,

the box was such a pain to get out , but me and my dad ( i owe him sooo much he helped with the whole lot ) had the box almost in , and i had to leave it to go to work ,,

so my mam and dad , finnished off , and got a few bolts in while i was at work (y) came home and put all the rest of mounts on , and a lot more on ,

the smile on my face when i first put it in gear and it work so happy lol

chris , makes me look at the cento and go PLEASE NEVER be like this :p

Tbh mate EASY .. once i did a search on here , i found a post by davren (i think )

go down to your slave cylindet , look down at it and there will be a little cap about 2 inch away from were it goes in to the box , lift that up , and then there is a metal clip that holds the pipe to the csc , , pull that up , , then pull your Pipe towards the inner wing , dont pull it all the way off , there is two stages , ONLY pull it to the first stage , about 10 mm ish , and then you will see fluild coming out the little niple thinngy , , onece the air stops coming out , push the pipe ALL the way back on , make sure its pushed all the way in , as if it isnt when you put your foot on the clutch it will pop off

if you need any more info about it ill find the post for you gadge
