Found out what my knocking noise is ,.. Wishbones are dead again after 7 months ,,, crappy ecp ,,, so bought some off shop4parts , saved quite abit of money by dontating to the Fiat forum ( its saved me almost 20 pounds) ,,, so its worth while donating guys

so got 2 birth wishbones on the way for her ,, and hopefully stop this dam rattling i have got ,,

so for now lola is my daily

i have bought loads of Original Berth stuff over time, all so far seems top quality stuff...

In My experience, the stuff is good for the price

yup ive bought burth off them before for drop links and they are good ,, so thats why ive bought of them this time (Y) Lesson lerned ,, buy cheep buy 3 or 4 times ...

Yeah i use mostly original birth parts myself these days, quality is absolutely top notch (better than standard in may cases i find, quite a lot of subtly redesigned components i've found that always have better quality materials,).

Missed posting yesterday ,,,, 2 years of ownership so ,, my car parts arrived and i bought her a gift ,,, and some stats look at the size of box the little thing came inn,,,

Pure loved these two years ive owned her ,, possible one of the best cars ive been / owned heres to another few years ,,, and i didnt think it would last this long with the miles on it ,, but its proves me wrong
if any one is reading this looking at buying a stilo ,, Buy one i bought this one for 600 pound and not looked back wish i bought it earlyer than i did now

I remember you asking me about my old stilo and whether you should get one and me saying you wouldn't regret it - glad to hear you have loved it so far. Very underrated cars, I loved mine too.

If anyone ever asks me about the still I say "it's the value for money car" as you get a hell of a lot for your money. Keep up the good work

shes been a good car (Y) any one that askes about them i rate them highly most people are suprised how well she looks (not blowing my own trumpet ) for the amout of miles and the age old its a fiat hows it not broke yet ha ha

well today it got 2 MORE wishbones after 7 months ,,,, fitted and since i was there 2 new droplinks since i ordered 2 with out even checking if they were shot when it was my wishbone making a noise and gave her a quick little clean and fitted my window blinds ,, still need fitted propper they make driving at night so much better

luck of the draw i suppose... mine had a hard life before me i think; was a taxi for the first 124k of its life. Then i had it upto around 200k with very few issues. But as with most cars, i have heard some proper horror stories.

well shes started misbehaing Last night ,,, boost problems ....

hit boost , then all the sudden Pow out the exhaust , the boost gauge drops to 0 , and then i cant get boost , let my foot off the throttle , put back on will boost again , for a second or two then pow loose boost ,

chaged that sensor thing on the batt tray ,
chaged map sensor ,
cleaned air filter
unblanked egr , and then reblanked
Cleared all faults in fes ,, No fault showing ,, no EML light

been and picked a second hand dumpvalve ( that black box on the back of the engine ) from the brakers yard not had chance to fit it ,,,
gonna change the wastegate to the one off the turbo that i killed incase its the wastegate thats gone tits up

any one have any ideas what could be up?

Check brake switch? Could be faulty and tricking the ECU into thinking you're braking?

shes Fixed ,,, it was the Air pipe squeesing down ,, so the airfilter must of been blocked must not of gave it a good enought clean last time

must be pretty restricted to suck that down ?
what filter have you got , if cleanable make sure completely dry before reusing, if cone filter in bay may have been splashed and blinded a wet filter not good for airflow.

time to get nice shiny solid pipes

Cone filter , yeah will make sure its perfectly dry before putting it back on , been left on a warm place in the house all night , so should be dry by now

update on her is shes back on her standard wheels as the borbets errm were sllick and needs new tyres so put the standards on to i get new rubber on

keep them for a track day, slicks are worth around 4secs per lap at some tracks lmao
