A friend of mine helped me fit them - it came to about £100 for all of the bits and bobs, including the lights themselves at £50 - there are plenty of guides on the forum, as was mentioned earlier in this thread if you want to do it yourself. At a garage, it would've been £250 for the parts and two hours' labour.
One important thing on that front, DO NOT buy the Fiat fog light switch panel (like this one but with the front fog button)

This is because the new one will not plug straight in, and will mess with the cars 'brain', an expensive fix. We instead put a normal switch in the cavity below, a much easier and cheaper alternative

Really nice mate fp, mines a 1.4 an i love it ! loving the wheels, how much did they set you back??
Cheers mate, that switch you've fitted looks really nice, good please to put so thanks for that!
Definitely a really tidy job and instantly modernises and makes your car look like a higher spec
Hello Mate,
Your GP is coming on lovely mate love all the little mods mate can I ask have you fitted the seats?
Keep up the good work mate enjoyed reading your members motor thread so far!
Regards
Stephen
Thanks mate, it's appreciated and the same with your thread
I've given the seats a thorough clean and they're looking miles better, but I have to say they're still sat on our living room floor haha XD very comfortable for watching the TV in though!
I've yet to get around to the modifications. I'm actually quite tempted to buy sporting seat covers instead, and make a Top Gear-style sofa set out of the Coupe leathers, but we'll see how it goes
Again a couple of teeny bits, the Abarth headlights have been ordered and shiuld be on the car in a couple of weeks.
Black side repeaters to match them (B/A)

And I've vinyled the steering wheel controls, I didn't like the cheap plastic

Quite pleased with the tidiness actually, as the vinyl I bought turned out to be rubbish
Just fitted the new exhaust tip too, and it looks a million times better than the original

I've been dabbling in cheap chrome parts for a while, but they've each lasted only a couple of months, and don't look right either
These look really nice, I might do mine tomorrow, how difficult were they to get off please ?
One question, Where? Where did you get this haha and does it just go over the previous exhaust tip as a sort of cover? ... Oh that was two questions
I think I'll leave the silver grille as it is as well (being a £300 optional extra and all) despite the black head- and foglights, but we'll have a looksee in a week or so eh?
What's a £300 optional extra?
And I sure hope that exhaust is quite few becauee I definitely want one of those!
Thanks mate the exhaust tip can be a bit of a bugger to fit, but it's just aligning it with the bodywork really. Took me and an allen key about ten minutes
As far as I can tell from all of my reciepts for the car, the silver sporting front grille was a £300 optional extra for these cars (I haven't owned a GP from new, so I wouldn't know ) which is pretty damn steep! £200 for the upper grille, £100 for the lower part
I'll get a link up for the exhaust tip ASAP
Bloody hell that's expensive! I thought £85 for car mats for my cousins polo was steep haha (still do actually!)
I think I may of found the exhaust tip on ebay, was it around £15?
Here's the one mate:

Again, still quite pricey at about £40, but I must've went through at least four of the cheap chrome ones already, which came to more in total than the price of this one.
£85 for car mats! Some optional extras are ridiculously over-priced considering what you get. A bag of sand for SatNav, hundreds for alloy wheels. Porsche even charge for things they've taken out of your car.
Worth it in the end though. I'm just so glad mine's got Blue&Me - the hands-free phone kit is something I'd expect on an S-class but not a hatchback (even my dad's five-series doesn't have one!)
