Introducing Pepper Fox

Got her this evening.

She's a foxy Dr. Pepper red (sounds better than Opera Red?), hence the name.

Really beautiful colour, very flaky metallic. Goes from almost bright red to brown depending on the light, it's a fantastic colour.

She seems really good, just a couple of niggles to sort and she'll be perfect.

Huge legroom behind a 6' driver:

Door bin is too sharp, I brushed my knee on it gently, that's my skin left behind:

This is what's left of my knee!

Re: Introducing Pepper Fox

Make sure you look after those wheels, the diamond cut finish is great when new but the slightest kerb mark and the water gets in a wrecks it.

Re: Introducing Pepper Fox

One of them already has a very small surface scratch (not from a kerb, from something like the pneumatic wheel nut gun hitting it in the factory maybe). Don't think it's through the lacquer at all so will just polish out. That is one of the two niggles I spotted.

Re: Introducing Pepper Fox

These were the niggles, all sorted now, wheel (two scratches on a wheel - the one that looks marginal was actually worse than the other), rubber trim (whoever fitted that needs to go to Specsavers) and forgotten Supagard pack (locked away with no key when I went to pick up the car...).

Then I got home and the stupid huge dealer key fob caused the key to be too close to the top of my pocket and the key fell out of my pocket by the front door onto the path which marked the cover slightly.

This made me super grumpy
Still, she was perfect for about 2 hours

FIAT still only give out one remote key fob, penny pinching to the extreme.

So I've ordered this:

And this pouch:

And these to compare to the original emblem which doesn't look the best (hope the original is just self adhesive[d] on):
