Grande Punto My Red Grande T-Jet (Daisy)

Introduction

I fell in love with it when i first saw it and knew it had to be mine.
Ive done a few small mods since owning it.
Xenon look headlight bulbs
Abarth mats
Yatour music changer
Chrome indicator bulbs in the headlights and side repeaters to get rid of the fried egg look
Forge motorsport induction kit
Powerflow backbox
De-wipered, de-badged

Im a big fan of keeping the car clean as well.
Future mods are coilovers and some different wheels.
Re-vinyl the A and B pillars as they are awful.
Vinyl the numberplate bit between the grills.

Anyhow, pictures from when i first got it, to now. (Nothings changed really  )
Annoyingly nice!!!!
3 questions though
1. Where do you live so I can steal these?
2. What disks are you running there, they look good behind the turini's
3. What coilovers are you running and with how much drop, looks perfect.

Haha ;)
1. No comment, i live on a hill so good luck getting it jacked up ;)
2. They are EBC Turbo grooved disks coupled with green stuff pads.
3. Jom coilovers, wound all the way down on the front and no adjusters in the rear.

Ride quality is pretty decent for budget coils.
Sits perfect for me and i dont catch on anything :)

1. Just have the take the whole car then haha.
2. Cool, are they the gold ones on the ebc site yours look silver. I nearly bought the black slotted version but I'm sure the black will disappear after a couple hinder miles so seems pointless to be black in the first place.
3. Thought they were and you not have speed bumps near you then lol. Looks perfect either way.

Ps I'm gonna stop massaging yours and your cars ego now haha

Hahaha please dont take daisy! I will cry :(
Yep, they are the gold ones! They are like a goldy silver anodised finish, which is why they look silver ;)

Haha, yes! Have lots of speedbumps. Take them at the right speed and im fine! I catch a exhaust u clamp on 1 speedbump and thats it lol.

Its not really in your face! It looks brilliant and i love it :)
I know a lot of people wont though lol!

when I read you were "going gold".. I wasn't too sure,

but then looking at a couple of the Stanford pics Daisy looked a bit "anaemic" on the Silvers.. so I reserved judgement.;)

Glad to say the Gold works just fine (y)

Yeah, i always felt she looked a little too 'standard' for my liking on the silver. Although they did look lovely it just wasn't enough for me!
The reaction i've had off everyone has been very positive, i thought i was going to get a lot more hate for it! Seems I made the right choice!
But at the end of the day, i did it for me! Just a bonus that loads of others like it too!

Didnt get to speak to you at stanford charlie :(

So, today was my birthday, i paid a visit to tony at tune4performance to make sure daisy was still running nicely!
Her first run she made 173bhp and 210ft lb of torque...

If you notice the boost (green line) drops off quite quickly.

Tony did a map tweak and shes now running smack on 180bhp and 190ft lb of torque (with a warm engine)
And the boost now sits at 15psi through nearly the whole rev range!

Now pulls like an absolute train! Majorly impressed and cant recommend tony enough!

I would say yes but it wouldn't be much more. I cant be sure though.

Happy birthday buddy (y) car now goes as well as it looks :D

cheers buddy, i am chuffed to bits :)

Impressive whats power at the wheels?

No at the wheels power, all cars are measured at the fly, even from factory.
But at a guess its gonna be about 165/170
