A few mods prior to the Abarth setup...engine is like it should have left the factory - i have done some measurements, quicker than an Abarth SS to 220, top speed on flat ground is in the range of 230-240. Consumption, if you drive it normally has dropped slightly (0.5L @100km), but if you gun it, consumes fuel more

I had a few more bits done aswell, like for eg.

The edges of the vinyl couldn't handle the cold weather, mirror caps need taking off...i can't remove them, if i pull harder i'm gonna rip out the whole mirror...

Next, it was yellow fog lights, but that didn't suit the red, so off it went :)

Changed the spark plugs a few days ago, after 18 000km, roughly 11200 miles, they looked like this

x377.jpg

I've put NGK Laser Iridium IKR9J8 now (factory ones were IKR9F8)

Future servicing needs to be done with Selenia Abarth 10W50, and plug change at half the interval needed (30K -> 15K)

Future plans include:

A) Stage 3 (TD04 setup, up to 240hp)

Or

B) Eibach's, Abarth brakes, backbox

+ some visuals (Abarth headlights, dunno what else)

We'll see how it goes :)

Oi

60 to 160 (37 to 100mph), 3rd and 4th gear, couldnt pull 2nd cos it lights up the tyres :)

Map is not corrected as it should be, peak boost is there, i'm lacking boost at top end (some 0.1 to 0.15 bar // 1.45 to 2.18 psi), so expecting it to be quicker

I have been in contact with Shop4Parts, I've sent them money for the Abarth SS intake (Pipe + bracket), hopefully they'll be able to source the parts and ship them over. Also, gonna change oil soon, switching from Selenia K to Abarth 10W50 :)

Nice car
kindly look at my post i have the same issue in the spark plugs
https://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punto/346642-spark-plugs-fried-my-t-jet.html

i have a td04 setup
methanol
renault rs intercooler
2.5" de-catted exhaust
EBC grooved brakes with green stuff pads
lowered it 3cm with eibach springs

Haven't posted in ages here

There have been some updates:

- Abarth Tail-lights
- Abarth rear badge (I need the front and the wheel ones aswell)
- Lowered 35mm on H&R springs
- 5mm rear wheel spacers
- Upholstered the boot side of the rear bench
- Upholstered interior door handles (Abarth replica)

Performance wise:

- GT1446 turbo
- Corsa OPC Injectors
- Reinforced exhaust manifold
- Abarth cams
- Full 63.5 turbo-back exhaust
- Launch Control set at 4000rpm
- Flatshift/Nolift shift above 5000rpm
- Pipercross panel filter
- Abarth SS intake pipe

Awaiting:

- Abarth SS MAP sensors (sitting in the garage)
- Bigger IC
- Sorting the intake to the turbo, factory airbox is too restrictive, will run a pipercross open filter
- Retune

Currently running at a very safe setting of around 195-200hp...Possible power up to 220-230

I had to correct the intake pipe and change the position of the airfilter cos of water problems, now it's okay...also, intake temps did not change at all (intercooler does the job :) )
