Thankyou....it has rust in a few places and the pics don't pickup on this..still love driving him and looking forward to the show on the 1st April..:D

I will be dumping the oil again soon for another fresh oil and filter after another Italian tune up to and from the show.

Looking forward to seeing him there too! And will definately be copying those front seats some time. :yum:

Got this from eBay. Original 80's sunstrip with a clear background. Colours should match the car nicely. Yeah a bit tacky but I like it.

Ok this is getting silly Kev - I spotted a blue one for mine!! Who's copying who :bang: Great minds or fools I guess!!

Just thinking there aren't that many mk1's even with recent discoveries. Would it be worth listing the ones we know about, where they are lurking, or when they were last seen? Could be interesting for future reference?

They have a red one too..so on the back window or front for you??

The last MK1 I saw I tipped off Vern...and got him together with the owner even though he wasn't selling it... The rest is history as you know.

I can't see myself ever seeing another on the side of the road..so how do you think we can track the remainders down??

Front/Back, I like both, but which is best??! The red one's still available I think.

There seem to be a number on here but you lose track until one of the threads pop up. I don't suppose many new ones would turn up but we might be able to keep track of where they go when they are sold, or if one's awaiting resto? Just a thought - ignore me if it's not useful ;)

The arch gap on the rear wheels is insane, you could park another Panda in there! Is that normal?

Also the clock is wrong.

That's standard mk1 arch there:p That's why SEAT put a bit of trim over it and Fiat changed to a moulded arch design. But I like it; it's one of the original panda styling features.

and the clock is correct, it was an optional extra for those special people like Kev who need a little more luxury

Did mk2's have the digital clock as an option or was it just a mk1 thing does anyone know?

Looking amazing anyway Kev, really looking forward to seeing this VIP. :slayer:

Thanks Si....... Never say never I know....but this is a keeper. I have totally bonded with Charlie, which I can't always say has been the case with all the pandas I've had. Love driving him..:D

Looks like a great example! I don't think I've actually ever seen a mk1 "in the flesh" or probs "in the metal" hopefully we get to some of the same shows/events at some point!
