Aston Martin DB9

Hey,

Few weeks ago was my grandad's funeral not good, but.. now 4 weeks later on a good note one great thing came of that day and a family friend who work's for Aston Martin was owed a favour so was lent the International DB9 show car which has been at all the shows over the country and Europe, he was lent this car for the week, so we all took advantage of this and went for some really long and fast cruises in the 6 Litre V12, I must say if you are not to clued up on the Aston Martin DB9 engines its not built by Ford this engine was completly designed and tuned by themselves so that made me feel better.. When I went out in the car we where doing 120 mph down the motorway in 3rd gear I was amazed that he was in 3rd and the Sequential gearbox was amazing, Fast and it seemed to make the driving side of the Aston very fun, top end on my drive was over 150 mph but sadly have to slow down to overtake cars we where not able to go above this speed!

Anyway unfortunatly I was not able to get any videos because I was not prepared for it being there, you can imagine the smile on all our faces when he turned up, but on a side note I managed to get some pictures....

Re: Aston Martin DB9

That is one of the sexiest cars i have ever seen, I am so jealous.

I had a BMW 530d for the day and I thought that was fast but that is in another league!

Re: Aston Martin DB9

Yes truly amazing.... My uncle has an M5 and that can go in 3rd at 100 Mph and upto around 130 but the revs are just a different story... The power of the car was very sweet not the most comfy though!

Re: Aston Martin DB9

Due to it being a show car, that is not the Sat nav you get with the Aston Marton DB9 normally, that is out of a volvo and stuck in hehe but still very similar in apperance!

And just to point out the Alloys where a £3000 extra
