Hi just wondering if anyone nows where the power feed to the folding mirrors comes from i.e., fuses/relays the reason i ask is that my 1.9 jtd has no power to the n/s folding mirror motor although the mirror tilt is working and the drivers side mirror folds as it should not had the car long the mirror on it originally was broken so got one from the breakers.

can anyone help? 52 reg multipla?

I had the same problem with a replacement from ebay. After examining the wiring I noticed that there were 2 wires missing. I think that whilst all have power adjustment and heating elements - not all are power folding.

i was wondering if that was the case, i have noticed that the roof switch to fold them has a black plastic part init with mirror icons painted on it. my old multipla had a plain grey swich on it wondered if changing the unit would make it get power to fold??

The full-function (i.e. heated/electric adjustment/power fold) NS (left) mirror should have seven wires. Likewise the OS unless your car also has climate control, in which case it should have nine wires. The extra two are for the little bobble on the outer edge of the mirror casing that is the external temperature sensor.
