looked and it says 5w/40 but is there any specific makes that are better?

Ryan I believe that Fiat recommend you use Selenia oil mate.

I'm with Brentacre, they're really good. Beat all my quotes hands down and, like you said, don't charge extra for cosmetic mods!

I tend to use castrol or something. In an emergency oil top up, I used morissons stuff once :bang::bang::bang:

oil is 5w/40 fully synthetic - thats what it says in my book anyway.

got a phonecall from aviva and they will let me declare springs for £100 so a total cost of £1200 absolutely buzzzing. roll on the 23rd when it runs out

cheers for that. what oil did you use by the way? im in need of mine doing cos its low so thinking of changing it cos ive done a lot of miles since owning it and dont know when last owner had it serviced

had nothing to do today so thought id change rear speakers and to my question i asked ages ago yes the same size speakers fit in the back just go to have a few washers on to step it up as doesnt sit entirely flush. but they are now in and the sound is much better, more of a surround feeling where as before it was more just the fronts

next mod....... springs nice 60mm drop

Why not just change the fader setting so it comes from the rear a bit more. Saying that I'd like to modify my speakers as the sound quality isn't quite there for me was it a straight swap with wiring and which speakers did you use?. Also I don't think springs drop the car by 60 mm? You need coil overs for that sort of drop I think. Although I don't know a lot so I might be wrong haha

To my knowledge also you need coilies for a drop that size, but its worth it. If i could afford it i'd go for it, but i settled for less money to make mine look more lady like, and less like the lady in the sky

well it says they are 60mm so hopefully it will drop near enough that. the speakers i used were the size of the front and i just put some small washers around the fixings so it stood off a little them when got that sorted just fixed them in place. i just cut the plug off the old and added a little bit of wire that came with them cos it had the connectors for the speakers then just soldered together and bish bash bosh job done

cheers gunna call in at halfords today and see what they have. Is there any graphic designers or anything on here that fancy helping me design some stickers for me and a few mates? heres my 2 ideas that ive had

Had a little incident with a long eared animal last night, wont be running anywhere now after hitting it at about 70mph. Luckily only caught the splitter and not the bumper, snapping splitter in half, so this morning had to screw it back into place and notice that it is only stapled on . All sorted now so GP 1- Rabbit 0 :slayer:

Fully fixed the splitter today as only had time to temporarily fix it when i did it, so took all the staples out so could get it back straight and then used self taping screws right across. Should hopefully fix the problem if it occurs in the future. Also changed oil finally and checked the spark plugs, they seem to be like goldeny brown colour tried taking a picture, do you guys think they need changing or are ok for the moment?

cheers for that i wont bother changing them then. Are the t-jet seats more of a bucket seat compared to standard active sport ones as im looking to change them as mine are uncomfy and give me back ache
