Grande Punto Reuuk's Orange Mjet ;)

Introduction

well here it is! finally getting around to creating a thread, I've sold my 2001 Punto mk2 and gone for a brightly colour Grande MJet 1.9 In Caribbean Orange! ;;)

few things already added.

Wind deflectors
FK badgeless Grill (in post)
vinyl behind the front numberplate
FF Sticker obvv

further mods would be things like the usual black wheels
sportline springs and possible remap :)
haha the 'to do list' everybody has one of those ;)

mine isss..

fitting my eibach sportlines i have sitting in a box
deciding weather to attempt fabricating the A pillars or just plastic black spray them..
Black alloys
some sort of black headlight tint until i can afford Abarth headlights
and a nice remap ;)

you fitting your springs yourself??, if you need a hand just let me know. Think i"m going to fly eye my headlights and just take it off for MOT. Will be doing my A pillars next week so will let you know how it goes.

possibly.. or I may use the garage i go to.. as for the A pillars, I've looked at them, I don't want to be able to see a seem.. yeah no doubt ill keep an eye on yours :) I'm in process of glueing the C pillars back together now :)

Really need to get mine lowered know I've seen this, looks so
Much better, how's the ride?

Thanks,
It suits it a whole lot more, looks smarter and more clean.

the ride is allot firmer, and more responsive on turning doesn't feel like such a heavy lump going into corners lol.

I'm used to coilovers on my old fiat punto mk2 so these don't seem to bad haha.

Sorry to take this thread off topic, but you can pass your MOT with flyeye headlights. At least I did anyway, had it done at Evans Halshaw so I thought they would have said something but didn't...

I wasn't sure with the new Mot regs that have come out, but thanks for letting me know.

The light emmited from the head light doesnt change with fly eyes so front, back and fogs are legal to do as long as there is no colour change, e.g: black is fine all over, only ones you cant are the bottom rear reflectors as they have to be reflective and with tint there not.

ergh not this debate again! completely off topic but this is needed to end it. lol.

ANYWAY back to the car, its stanford hall time this weekend so I'll be having a nice clean up

not much has been added over the past few days, I'm planning on re-fitting my Jag duel horn and painting my callipers and cleaning the EGR valve (if i get chance) :)

neither am I If i'm honest. I could do that but I think ill just try and get hold of some black ones cheap from somewhere :)

plasti-dip has a really weird rough texture to it too.

Grill coat looks great though

It doesn't look like that in the picture, looks quite a smooth finish. Just have to keep trying eBay and hope some come up.
