Introduction

Hello All,

I have been a member on the forum for a few months and been reading the site most days, I only passed my test in September 2011 and got my GP at the end of September 2011. Please take a look at my GP and please give me some ideas as to what mods I should undertake to next.

Please note I already plan to have the following done:-

1) Lower the back and front.
2) Install a K&N 57I Induction Kit (depending on the feedback I get from you guys.
3) Chrome upper and lower front grille.
4) X-one roof spoiler.

Any other mods anyone can think of that would make my GP look the best it can look would be greatly appreciated.

Well I spoke with a bloke today with a bloke who operates a franchise from a Tyre Spot in Newcastle upon Tyne. He was the most unhelpful person I have every come across TBH he didnt even sound like he knew what he was talking about which didnt install much hope as I dont know an awful lot myself about backbox's/exhausts. I am starting to think I may well be easier and a hell of alot cheaper to buy a really nice exhaust trim. Any suggestions on just a trim peice?

Just finished washing and waxing the car and given the fact that I attempted and was successful at installing my fog lights yesterday, although they are not wired up yet I thought I would post a pic. I would like to thank the very helpful guide which assisted me in the instalation.

  • Genuine Fiat Chrome Grilles (Ordered and awaited)
  • Richbrook Short Sabre Aerial 'Chrome'
  • Splitter (Ordered and awaited)
  • Sporting Side Skirts
  • Smoked Repeaters
  • Wind Deflectors
I am still looking into the whole exhaust things but I am totally unsure as to what I want as I dont want anything that it going to be loud. I have also stumbled across some accessories called eyebrow covers, what is everyones views on these?

Please let me know your views on the above.

If you don't want it loud is it just going to be for show? Get the sporting tail pipe
 
@ grandejdtm - I have been looking and the sporting tail pipe and also the linea one. Would it be possible do you think to get a very nice remus or scorpion tail pipe without the back box and have it welded on ?
 
Hello All,

Gotta agree with lukemortlock7 and booth mate, side repeaters will look slick but the spolier n skirts look like they jus fell out of a mid 90's max power mag.
 
Ok guys, thanks for the feedback I think you guys are right in what you say. I will look for some oem side skirts. I have already ordered the repeaters.

Hello All, I hope everyone is well?

I havent been about much lately, overworked and underpaid but I am sure I am not the only one LOL.

I wanting to do some further mods to my car. I am currently awaiting the following:

Sporting Side Skirts - being repainted and repaired.
back three windows are being smoked at the end of August.

Once the above has been done I want to turn my attention to the inside of the car, any mods anyone can suggest would be great.

Further, I am looking at wind deflectors am I better of going for HEKO ones or are the genuine Grande Punto ones just as good?

Hello everyone,

Just a quick update I have fitted a new fiat sports exhaust tip to my GP along with rear punto mudflaps and Heko wind deflectors which I purchased off Wellsy2006.

Like the twip tips pipe... and I'm glad those deflectors are on and looking good! Not over keen on the chrome, but if that's the look you were after, nice one man :) it's coming along!
