i know nothing about these but look cool, nothing but respect for people keeping any kind of old car going though

with regard to the build date, i would start by contacting fiat with the VIN number

It's a beaty! Not sure but 'haps Fiat has a Centro Storico like Alfa Romeo that you can contact with VIN # and get manufacturing details. Ask your local Fiat club?

when i registered my seicento in UK i had to get a certificate from Fiat which had all this stuff on.. I think it was called a 'certificate of conformity' but in italian obviously. Can find the paperwork at the moment though or i would be more help.
