Seicento My Pretty standard Blue Bug...

Introduction

Not Modded at all.... all though electric sunroof ! FTW !
Nothing planned apart from some bits and bobs to keep it happy....
Would like an induction, but seen as im only young insurance is already high enough...
Would like to change the exhaust tip..but whats the point ?

Only on a tight budget, as still a full time student... So most things are out of the equation..
oil filter + oil changed is next on the list to do, dont think its been done in a looong while !
Also thinking about selling this at the end of the insurance year, and then getting a sporting ? Opinion ?
Its pretty much the only car i can afford the insurance for, and i've grown fond of other sei's on the road

Looking at the quotes for next years insurance, Drops to around £1400ish Third Party only, ( its at £2500 atm lol). A seicento Sporting gives my premium next year £2100.... so gunna stick with my bugg.

Seen as im sticking with it --> Induction kits are they worth it ?

Well what you do is going to depend massively on your insurance.. If it were my car i would uprate the suspension and brakes first. Its never going to be really fast - you wouldn't be able to insure it if it had enough stuff done to make it 'fast'. Therefore i would aim at making it better on the twisty stuff and braking, in the real world this will make the car faster than sticking a few engine mods on.

My list would be (in no particular order):
1. Lowered springs with uprated shocks
2. Sporting anti-roll bar
3. Set of 14" alloys of some description with good tyres
4. Set of late Punto GT from brake calipers and discs (these are a bolt on mod, just take yours off and bolt these in their place but you need 14" wheels as 13" wheels will not go over them)

well thats because they cost more and make more difference.. Just an induction kit and exhaust shouldn't make much difference to your insurance really but don't expect the car to be transformed or anything. Sticking some decent suspension on will make more difference to the cars than anything else really, apart from sticking a 16v engine in or turbocharging or whatever
