you slide them up into the rubber lining on the door, they're really easy to fit, literally takes 10 seconds.

They fit pretty tight tbh, I don't imagine they'd fall out. You usually get clips with them but i didnt so I'm just using double sided tape n they are very secure.

How much should I lower just to remove wheel/arch gap? was thinking about 30mm. Dont want it sitting on its bum

i like your car, its a nice colour iv always wanted a red car and put black alloys on it and tint etc 30mm drop sounds good, i wish i could get insured on lowering springs :*( curse my age ;p

thats mine with them and 35mm springs (not bedded in there, so that's probably 30mm)

EDIT: just rang insurance and for ~ 30 mm lowering, they want an extra £295. That would leave my insurance at a grande total of £2600...great lol Well worth it though

30-40mm is fine, buy some good quality springs though.

There the most common one especially the sportlines give you that nice low stance, ive got them on mine and was glad i got them would never return back to stock springs. otherwise it would be coilovers

right okay, a little step aside from things to do to the car, now I need a repair.

Basically, it was one of those moments where you think the nearest toilet is years away so you rush home, dive out of the car, forget to lock it also and you do make it to the toilet...everyone happy.

This time though, I hit the f*** curb whilst parking

Any suggestions please other than a refurb?

Nice car. Red and black look so good together. What I would do is either get some black touch up paint to just make it blend in but for the mean time just get a permanent marker and just go over it so It don't stand out.

Thanks! Always loved red and black...atempted it with my old corsa but just isnt the same effect as with this car. Okay will find one out tonight. thanks for that idea!

Sand it down a bit so it's smoother then spray it.

Was going to do that but just bought a touch up pen and see how that looks for now. Will post the results later only a temporary fix

Basically, I want to paint my drums black but struggling to find any paint.

Iv seen a lot of sprays but cant find (or it doesnt say on the product) if it is paint or spray.

Halfords brake caliper paint is good but they dont do black.

Can somebody recommened one ASAP as I have wednesday to friday free and are going to use that time to paint them.

Ill be painting on top of previous paint that was primered so not really any point in applying primer is there?
