well good mate im thinking of de-catting , as i can get it done super cheap lol whats ur mpg and speed difference

How cheap can you get that done, make sure you get a bolt in bolt out 1 so you can change them easily come mot time, and use new bolts and gaskets etc lol

I havent really paid much notice to mpg difference as if i wanted a car that done lots of miles to the gallon i wouldnt have a HGT lol

alongside the air filter, the de-cat has made a massive difference to the way the car drives, it pulls harder from lower down the rev range now aswell as a very noticeable increase in bhp and torque, car breathes alot easier now and it shows in the way she drives

20£ and a new pipe welded in place
 
welded? i wouldnt bother, as you'll havew to keep paying to have the cat put back in come mot time, get one made thats bolt in/bolt out soe easily changeable for an mot
nope no need it passes the mot ;-) my mate who does it put something in there that passes the mot he wont tell me what it is tho
