I bet it didnt look too different when it left the factory, looks in fantastic condition. I had to take pictures of mine when I stripped out the interior too. Shiney un-weathered paintwork is hard to find on a 25 year old car!! lol

It sure is! There is something pleasing about lifting the carpet (rubber!) to see it so clean & rust free! I was expecting it to be worn away on the raised sections, but no, its fine.
Mines only 22 years old though!
I used jiff to clean the sides, worked really well, but there are a number of scratches/chips stopping it looking too new
Got 4x4 side covers to protect them too).I also washed the floor matting with hot soapy water (making sure none of it went underneath).
Oh, & I fitted a high level brake light on, so hopefully it`ll stop anyone driving into the back of me!
I`ve managed to clean my original dashboard now, so that`ll go back in when I get the chance, next I need to sort the rear seat top (split almost all the way across thanks to a mates dog) & get the side trim panels glued back onto the hardboard backings, hopefully I`ll be able to get them straight again.

Rear seat damage. Been quoted £80-100 to patch this
