Uno 1994 Mk Uno 1.7D (Chalkboard Car MkII)

Introduction

As I've got something a little different from the average Fiat, I thought I'd post up some photos:

As suggested in the title, its painted in chalkboard paint, good fun, until it rains anyway!

Currently lowered, but I'm planning to put it back on standard springs.
No longer has white painted tyres... had to replace them and didn't get round to repainting!
Im not really that close to yorkshire but id come for a drive down if there was a big meet on, i live just outside blackpool so its a good trek to pretty much anywhere :(.
Yeah check out the yorkshire italia meeting, just click the link in my sig and have a read (y)

I think you should do the whole car in a checker board pattern lol

Does anyone know what 'CORRIE' means?

Someone painted it on my car earlier, I'm guessing its a slang insult?

It might be their nickname, never heard corrie being used as an insult, and is it actually painted on there to the point you'll have to repaint that area?

Just thought I'd update this thread a bit...

Fitted new shocks and springs all round at the end of May. Now its back at standard ride height!

Fitted new front wishbones in August.

Fitted new front top mounts and new front roll bar bushes in October.

The MoT is coming up, and I'll have to do a quick bit of welding for that. Also might fill the OSR arch, as its gone a tad rusty.

Going to try and give it a lick of paint too, as its going grey badly!
Got some matt black internal emulsion from Focus shutting down, going to see if that manages to stay on...

Thought I'd add some photos back from Feb/March.

I'll take some more when I repaint it.

Good for advertising too: lol

(Pug 205 now sold though)

This was what it looked like when I bought it, you can see how much it's faded!

Unfortunately I have just made a very difficult decision... My much loved Chalkboard Car, aka Chalky, is now FOR SALE.

The MoT runs out next week, and I am not in the position to do the welding needed. There are loads of new parts, so I am hoping somebody will want Chalky to either weld and MoT, or to use for parts, or to use as an advertisement sign!

The engine pulls well, and is the 1.7 diesel. 81k miles, new cambelt at 71k.

I'll write a proper advert out later, in the correct section, but thought I'd tag this on here as well.

Due to the new parts, I have to ask for £500 ono
