Punto (Mk2/2b) My Latest - '04 Punto MultiJet HGT

Introduction

Picked up today, and after a 2 hour drive back from Wolverhampton I'll just say :slayer:

Much more mature than the Seicento, not as fun yet but maybe it'll just take some getting used to after a teeny petrol engine.
Plans?
Maybe some chromed steelies, deep dish/banded? Lowered a little, remapped and fit the BMC CDA I have lying around.

I've nicknamed it "The Croatian" because of its number plate :D
Meh, doesn't bother me if it sounds like a Transit on start up :p
Thanks for the comments though, it's only got 35k and has a full service history (with all receipts!). I actually have a feeling it used to belong to someone on here 'cos one of the receipts in there also mentioned a Barchetta so I'm guessing a Fiat fan :)

Think I've settled on 1st mod, gonna add some little white touches - engine cover, vents/centre console and brake calipers. Considering adding some off-centre stripes like the Panda Multijet Sporting but can't decide what size of stripes, 25mm? :chin:

Keep it subtle less is deffo more. Especially as most folks will be expecting a slow diesel.

I used to have a Seicento with the original steel wheels and skateboard tyres "fun" was not the adjective I would have used. I used to aim it down the road rather than drive it.

I know, I've thought about and decided against it now - FF sticker put in the rear window and that'll do. I do want to tidy up the calipers as they look a bit grotty and still think white would look good without being too o-t-t, maybe just silver though. Definitely doing the engine cover though, make that bay a bit more interesting :)

White calipers? I suppose it's different but when they get dirty they really will show it and just let the whole side down!

Red is a little un-original though, maybe a light blue would compliment it? With such a nice car as standard it's hard not to ruin it's subtleness :(
