Grande Punto My Black Tjet

Introduction

My Black Tjet Project

Thought id show how my little tjet has progressed over the last 2years :)
(bare with me ill be editing this post for a while as i get used to it lol)

I did pretty much nothing to the tjet for a year,

Firstly im not much into ICE installs, so in the audio front i only added a pre-amped subwoofer in the back, 10inch fusion tube type, the reason because it came with a remote and its suprisingly powerfull and being that it has a hard shell the boot is still very useable!

Next i got a Red GSR induction, not any power gains but the sound is worth it ;)

Soon after my custom cat-back exhaust from Torque Exhausts in enfield, again power gains wernt noticeable, i asked for a 2 and 1/4 inch bore straight threw pipe and sound wise i wanted the rally pops and crackles and a nice burble on idle and they provided (y) finished with a twin 3inch tips.

Just remember I would like one as well :p

Just trying to find a sandwich plate for my car as well as wondering what oil temp and pressure gauges would look good! also waiting for next payday!
If you find any sandwich plates for the gp could you post a link please or tell me where i can get them as I would like a oil temp gauge.

Think it will depend on your filter, check the GP section probably on the 2nd page now, someone found one that will do a plate.

I have contacted a proper online retailer and am asking about the sandwich plate as well as the fittings for the oil pressure and temp. When I do get some information I will let you know.

Tbh if I do get one off James to fit the plate the car needs to be serviced, so I will do this and fit everything maybe with his help.... and hopefully will make a guide to help him sell more!

I know how to wire it up as I have a boost gauge already installed, its dead easy, just the t-piece on to the vacuum line thats the fiddly bit. & for the volt meter its easy peasy :)

Just making sure haha.

I could make a little guide as I did mine myself, I didn't wire it so it turns on with the lights tho but constantly on/& the colour changing thing, but I might do that though :)

Yes I would just waiting for you to make afew :)

ive got one ready now you douche :)

just aslong as everyone gets a reading from the inlet manifold and not from a vacuum from the turbo itself (y)

just check that theyre is space and fitting for a sandwich on the sump first, my tt has a recess and drilling for one but i dont remember the gps having one but its been a while

i havent forgotten, but you couldve been being polite saying you wanted one :p when you free to meet up so you can have a look at it

Yeah james I definitely want one, I won't be the first though. Due to my incompetence with everything electronic, I'd probably need a guide from someone who gets one.

you can always get a speedo surround now it can be getting sprayed up whatever colour you want whilst a guides being made by jack (who im officially volunteering for the job on his behalf haha), i need peoples standard surrounds back so i can start making more.

unless those who'll want to keep a standard surround will tell me now itll cost you more as ill have to buy one from fiat again though.

Calling someone a douche.... real polite :p

Also I have asked nicely, in person lol, and explained that I will probably be keeping my other surround :)

Lol I dont want a wonky one :p Whats the difference? I have mine coming from the vacuum & it reads correctly. plus I don't know where the line for the inlet manny is.

I can start doing a guide on wiring up a boost gauge once a get some pics

its not the true boost, inlet manifold pressure after the throttle body is true boost. well if your standing at the front of the car assuming the engine covers removed if you leant over itd be the vacum line on the right hand side of the inlet, when i next meet up with a gps tjet member ill take a look and photo and then i can help but its hard when i cant even picture it anymore :(

I see but most people do take it from there. Is it easier to get to the inlet manny line? because the vacuum was a right pain to get the t-piece on lol

hello, do the Forge braces go on any grande punto? mines just a 1.4 sporting 2007?
