Whilst a bit tight for cash, i decided to put my Morduant Short house sub in the boot, powered by a cigarette lighte,r to a 4 way output (for tomtom/dab etc) then finally to an ac-dc converter, as it was a 3 pin UK plug. (house) (y)

Some 8000k bulbs were placed in the standard headlights, untill i can afford black angel eyes

I wanted to do a bigger modification that would make it stand out from a standard car, so decided to get some 17" black Team Dynamics, with Low profile tyres. 205/40r17 fronts, 215/40r17 rears. Had to purchase some spigot rings to fit, but are on snuggly now.

Oh, and this car will be on the FiatForum Stand (D) at the Fast Car Show this Weekend :)

One week later and a few more updates and pictures :)

I have always liked the linea/abarth front grilles (all black) but never understood the price take associated with them. Considering myself as a handy man i undertook a diy version of this grille.

Once I had the car sparkling with my new found favorite car cleaning products, Meguiars, I purchased some grey primer and matt black spray paint. Removed the top grille and removed the fiat badge from the top grille. Then cleaned it, sanded it down with superfine wet/dry sand paper and then primed it twice, and sprayed it black twice.

I then proceeded to prepare the middle section of the grille, (where the number plate sits). Applied masking tape around the edges, sanded down softly, primed twice and sprayed black twice again.

The paint from spraying the actual car spread very easily, so white spirit had to be used in some places very vigorously to remove the black sheet over my shining orange paintwork.

Once finished, it looked like this..

Let me know what you think :)

Next modifications:
HIDs / Angel Eyes
Lowering Springs
