Stilo The No1 GP Schumacher Project. Please.

Introduction

Hi so here is my New Schumi. (05 35k miles)

Yes i know its a crappy mobile pic. Ill get her back out for a couple of decent pics at the weekend.

So the plan is to sell some old speakers and give the body work a good going over. There are a few nicks and dinks but once they are sorted the exterior will be top notch.
The wheels are a little scuffed so they need a refurb. Im thinking of having them powder coated so i will have a play on photoshop when i get a minute.

Again i have no pics but the next thing will be to put in my reclining sports seats and smaller aftermarket steering wheel. Bye Bye Airbags.

Then i have the install to start just as soon as i pay for a warranty and window tints so no twocer can see in.

If anybody has any comments or ideas then im all ears.

Stu
Yes too many plans. The next thing is to do door builds to blend in an enclosure for the mid bass drivers.
Then find a silly big amplifier to run the sub in the boot properly.
Then hopefully in the winter i will find some money to brace the car and make some other improvements to the handling.

nice, i just read through your thread , the thing that most impressed me was the before and after shot of your engine bay lol, thats the kind of results i want when i clean mine

Im notoriously Anal. I can do things repetitively for hours. The outside of the car always bored me because you have to think about what your doing, wax this wax that etc etc. The engine bay is 1 cloth a bottle of degreaser and a bucket of water lol.

Updates? Please...
May of seen this at Trax? if that was you..
Also, loving the car(Y)

Yes i was at Trax with. I would have been in front of a Blue Marquee probably looking a bit hungover.

Not much to update since then TBH. A bit of tidying to the install and some Red Inserts around the Mid Bass so they are no longer hiding behind the Grill of the Doorcard.

I blew the Engine on the way home from Germany so its at the repairers http://www.fiatcoupespecialist.com/ for a new one right now. Then after that is done he is going to change the manifold for a better one and remove the cat for a bit of better throttle response. Also whilst the engine is apart he is going to put the 20v Coupe CAM in there ready for some planned engine tuning next year.

Lots to do this year though so keep an eye out for pics. I am hopefully aiming for a solid 210BHP with a lot more throttle at the low end. I would rather more power down there as i dont drive around everywhere at 7k revs.

Boot build is now for sale. Also got some A pillar builds made for 2 1/2" mids and tweets (tweeters included) that i dont need any more.

It looks will be putting this up for sale soon. I will update with some final pics as The car has changed a fair bit up front since i last updated this thread.
Its been a fun few years and somebody is going to get a great little car. Ive pretty much replaced everything in the last 18 months lol.

I love that boot build, looking to do something that looks pretty similar to yours but was going to place amps next to the sub but the enclosure against the back seat is smart. I take it you sold this in the end?

I don't suppose you'd know how to wire amps and subs with the original CN+ unit? If it's easier I might sell both my CNs and get a good quality double din LCD display, I like the thought of having an Alpine unit with the IMPRINT module inbuilt but I also hear Pioneer make a similarly awesome piece of kit
