I much prefer your yellow 'n

well i do too :) the black one owes me about £300, the yellow one owes me £1500 so id bloody well hope people prefer the yellow one! :)

:yeahthat:

Red badge on the black one looks like the sort of crap rolf produces

was on it when i bought it, it does look quite nice tho tbh.

dont let a mate drive one before he pays, could end up with 1 knackered car an no mate

i know, everyones told me that, im remaining hopeful though :p

both look well beau, naturally though, i think the yellow one looks great - its (only) previous owner must have cared for it as a 12yr / 130k mile'r....

now lowered / with a new exhaust / some more stickers, hows it keeping?

it looks even better when you park it next to another punto lol, then you realise just how immaculate it is :D

other than loosing my brakes this week at not a very good point (while heading towards my bravo! lol) a brake hose burst on the front, so pedal just went to the floor and had no brakes, other than that its still spot on, and drives so much better with the suspension.

Hope the handbrake worked. !!!

Get a pal to pump the brake pedal while you hold a fist around each brake hose. If you can feel any pulsing replace the full set and take VERY close look at the metal pipes.

well iv replaced one lol, the others all seem ok, it was probably me damaged it, it seems odd how i replaced the suspension a few days earlier... :p

all my brake pipes are painted so who knows :p

beau, this is interesting - the car went in for the brake pipe recall around 2000-02, (think the detail is in the folder). perhaps they've not replaced the parts, just slapped paint / "underseal" all over????

well i believe that is what fiat done, replaced rotten pipes or 'rust proofed' good pipes.

and you know i spoke to soon about the car running trouble free, it took me 4 hours to start it today :bang: no idea why, i was getting fuel & spark, the only thing we can think of is it over fueled some how and cleaned the bores of oil so it was getting low compression, after turning it over without plugs in it eventually gave in and fire up (obviously once we re-fitted the plugs :p)

maybe it was to do with the cold weather, but its ok so far, will see what happens in the morning :p
