My Twin Cinqys - Finally!

So here they are!
Red'uns a 1242 and Yell'uns an 1108 Hi-Boost Turbo
Will get some more pics up of interiors and engine bays etc...

just out of interest, any idea if the 1242 with the 14's outperform a 1108 with std rims?

The red'un is stunning, the wing mirrors look sa-weet on it.

Is a bad boy bonnet a whole new bonnet or just something added to the existing one? and how much does it cost?

you can buy them ready made, but you can also make them yourself fairly easily. Just weld a bent plate to the front of the original and fill the gaps with bodyfiller, then sand it down & paint (crude method - obviously theres much more to do but in essence thats how its done)

Dunno if my 1242 (it also has GSR CDA induction and cat-back Powerflow) out performs 1108 'cos it has balloon tyres on it! The wheels are in fact only 2mm smaller in diameter than 195/45/15"s!! ...and we all know what 15"s do to accel on a Cinq! We shall see when it has 194/40/14"s on it (which are the same size as the standard 13" setup )

The bad boy consists of 2 metal eyebrows being welded to the existing bonnet - smoothed and repainted - cost wise - its a fair bit... looking at around £150 just for the welding etc and then painting on top of that so about £200-250 - but I think you could get it smoothed aswell for that price - Unless you know someone

Insurance is cheap as chips for my Dad! - I can't get on it with HIC 'till I'm 19
Bumper was done fairly roughly (function rather than style!!) with my Dad's industrial Dremel Multi type thing... Even with all that extra cooling the Turbo still gets hot! So it's got a fan override switch in it too Can't wait 'till it's resetup correctly as it's fueling like a pig atm...

ARGHH! i'm 20 i wonder what insurance on a low boost would be for me??

HIC didn't bat an eyelid when my dad told them it it pretty much doubled the BHP - lol - they seem to be good with modded Cinqs - ask Pete

Did you rob the skirts off the yellow one for the red one? Do you have the keys to the yellow one? You could've taken the photos not through the windows!

The yellow ones bumper just looks odd.

liam, it was crackers cinq before matt got it and he bought it with skirts on heh i remember matt told me about the skirts on yellow cinq but ive a memory like a sieve
