Re: MarkRacoons White Bravo

Looks grrrrrrrreat !

I have the Eibach Pro-Kit in my Bravo and really recommend it ! Not too
hard and still fun to drive. Have thought also the black headlights kit
but doesn´t the new Cromas headlights fit also to the new Bravo ....
they are slightly more tinted than Bravos originals ;)

Re: MarkRacoons White Bravo

it's perfect (y) i would keep original taillights and change headlights into those with black insides (when they'll be available).

Still - looks excellent.

Re: MarkRacoons White Bravo

This car belongs to a fellow Fiat member here in Finland and they´re
all tinted with spray.

With all I mean the brakelight, tail ligths, reverse light and the foglight.
Tinted backlights would suit your silver car just fine !:)

Might give it a go, just worried about runs, also what do the cops think around your way? were not even allowed to tint our windows (Gibraltar) at all :eek:

Which spray do you recommend,as i can get it in spain.

Re: MarkRacoons White Bravo

The owner didn´t do it this himself, a friend of his did the job. There are
three different tinting versions, this being the illegal one ... too black in
Finland also ... ;)

I have seen this car many times in Fiat meetings, and must say the job
is excellent. No dropping anywhere and the laquer is clear and very nice.

I´m not the best adviser here ;), but I think the spray laquer gives a
matt result and perhaps a car painter in Gibraltar could do the right
measurements to achieve a fine, bright and not too dark result :)

Re: MarkRacoons White Bravo

hi, the car looks awesome, love the wheels. Did u get them coloured black yourself or are they a fiat special edition?

They are the Fiat silver ones ... they were chipped a bit in the edges  dang curbs... I had them refurbished and painted ... and now I love them even more

cewl to hear... ofcourse I went down with a cold this weekend so now the springs are STILL sitting in the box  hopefully soon ill get them mounted :D

About the headlights.... dont think the chroma's are totally black... rather dark grey... and thats not for me... im thinking of opening them up and giving them some black coating. :slayer:

Re: MarkRacoons White Bravo

Croma´s headlights are grey, a little bit more tinted than Bravos. I´m
sure, that within time, there will come also aftermarket black ones
for sale.

The Finnish " Darth Black Vader " I linked, was an example :) I also do
like a little bit of red in the backlights, so will also go with the original.

... or perhaps just slightly tinted version ... ;)

Get well soon ´cause the springs are waiting !

Mark, did your inner kickplates fit the plastic under them? From what I've seen on pictures in the forum, and my own car itself, the kickplates are longer and narrower than the spot on the plastic, designed for them. Can't really see on your picture, as it's a bit dark, but thanks for sharing your experience.

Hi Lyub,

No they dont fit at all... my guess is that FIAT originally had some other plates that fit to the inside... and then somebody said ..hey shouldnt these be on the outside ..and then they changed the whole thing but forgot to take new photos for the marketing material :D

Ill snap a photo for you soon.

Re: MarkRacoons White Bravo

Thanks Mark, no need to make that photo since you confirmed they don't fit. Just wanted to be sure they didn't send me the wrong plates, but from what I see these are the only plates and they don't fit Sports.

Re: MarkRacoons White Bravo

(y)

were those originally installed in your bravo.. or you installed them i really like them (y)

Re: MarkRacoons White Bravo

Nope ... they were fitted a year after car was purchased

I was only supposed to get one pair fitted... but since there was a mixup between the salesmaterial (saying that they were fitted INSIDE) and fitting instructions (saying they should be fitted OUTSIDE) I got another pair for free... so I could actually SEE them even when the doors are closed :D

I just called my local dealer where I bought the car and they ordered it... think it was around 90€ or something for a pair
