Hi
2001 marea weekend jtd110
Apart from the airbag warning light being on all the time,
it has two new problems
1, the temp guage is showing high, but its also a bit jumpy, I've cleaned all the contacts on the various connectors in the engine area.
the fan cuts in as it should if left idling, and it doesn't appear to be over heating.
Vibration when driving over pots holes will make the meter jump.
I was told many moons ago there are two temp sensors, I know one is down on the side of the engine ( battery side). where is the other, and would a faulty sensor cause these symptoms.

2 After about 30 mins to an hour driving, normally when de-accelerating the ABS warning light (amber) comes on and then the red brake warning light.
restarting the car while on the move resets this, sometimes it will reappear in about half an hour sometimes a few days later.. ideas please

many thanks

Richard

Hi i have the same problem pop up this past few days my weekend also a jtd has its ABS and red brake light come on, restarting does get rid of the problem temp but it comes back, when i travel over a bump sometimes i can hear a little whirring noise in the front left wheel for a few seconds i think this may be a faulty ABS ring or sensor this would no doubt be a problem causing the lights to come on can anyone else throw any light on this? thanks in advance
