Punto (Mk1) My Mk1 Punto

Introduction

Hey all, Well i'm a fiat owner again, got a nice cheapy since i couldn't afford my insurance on the mondy, paying just under £600 for me and GF on this and i have lots of cash left over from the sale of my bike and car :D

Has just under 4 month MOT and 8 months tax, was thinking it only had a couple of each before i got there, pleasant surprise!

It's an SX60 so it has the fogs, electric windows and stuff (y) oh and CD player!

in the last 6 months it's had a clutch, head gasket, exhaust, coil and an oil change and brakes so it should last a while (i hope)

going to give it a good old clean up and tinker on with it, well chuffed with it, drives like my old punto (mk2b) and for the price i couldn't help myself

EDIT - It was £150
Nice car and what a price!!

I wanted a MK1 but my dad wouldnt let me either  Said that they were too old!! (n)

So I got a MK2 intstead :)

too old? nahh they've just hit there prime lol, used to have a nice 54 reg mk2b but i sold it, nice cars (y)

and i must admit, i'd never seen a 312/b with cc bumpers till this one, but i rekon that was a case of not noticing a car till you own it

right i'll get some proper pics up soon, it looks poor in the pic i took v. quickly when i went to see it, so happy with it though, full service history, all original books and wallet full of bills, clutch, head gasket, coil and exhaust done in the last 6 months too, £90 odd quids worth of tax on it :D

and no bumpers :)

Bodywork looks pretty straight no dings by looks of it, nice base for a project. Good polish will bring the bodywork to life in no time. Green is a hard colour to work with but you can still get it looking good, someone on PSC had one and put black sporting alloys on it, suited it!

yeah it's pretty decent, has a couple of slight dings but they're to be expected and they are pretty slight, most i'll do is get some cheap alloys, been offered some nice 17s for £80, maybe lower it and cc mirrors/handles but that's about it.

i've bonded with the car, love it
