Grande Punto My Little Yellow Punto :D

Introduction

Will be getting black alloys for it soon. :) (y)
When I bought my yellow GP, the sales manager said they sold 1 other a few weeks before, but it was a guy that lived in the highlands. So it sounds like I'm the only one in Aberdeen with a yellow GP.

I've never seen another on the road.

Well I'm from south yorkshire so far away from Aberdeen so you probably are the only one!.. & yeah i thought exactly the same about yellow cars but i lovee it yellow :) & i agree about the black alloys ;)

That's great. Being unique is cool.

Love it, first one I've seen in that colour. Black would suit it, or even white alloys. But as above, what about standard and powdercoated, it's a good option, doesn't affect insurance either. Standard look sometimes is way better than modified crap.

Hi all!

I saw 2 lovely yellow 2 door gp's today at a dealer. One was the 1.4 8v and the other was the 1.3 multijet diesel. Has anyone driven both? And if so, how does the diesel compare to the petrol?

The diesel is only £35 a year road tax and costs nowt to run coz the mpg is so high!!!!

Thanks in advance (y)

The 1.3 diesel is a good little runner, but I prefer the 1.4 8v.

If you do a lot of driving, consider the diesel, otherwise get the petrol.

You only save £90 on road tax each year {1.3 diesel vs 1.4 8v petrol}, but diesel costs an average of £4 more per tank full. Also, diesel cars average £1,750 more than their petrol counterparts.

There's a form somewhere on the internet that I found when I was looking to buy my new car last spring, that could tell you how many years you would have to own the car for diesel to pay off. For my driving habits, it would take nearly 7 years for the diesel to pay off.

tbh with the price changes in diesel and petrol they're now level in most places and it will stay that way now pretty much...should even reverse so diesel is cheaper than petrol eventually! The 8v's work in a more dieselish manner anyway so the diesel is definately the senisble option!
