Introduction

Just thought id make a thread on how ive modded my stilo 1.9 jtd.

This is how it used to look when i picked him up.





Then i added spoiler, his name, debaged most of the rear, new grill and sunshades :p







Since then ive got a private plate and im currently doing the following:






Colour coding bump strips (Work in progress), today ive sanded them down and primed them







And my new alloys, which are awaiting some tyres :D



Ill post pics when the bump strips are finished and alloys are on :p

looks nice with the claws mate, get it lowered now though looks like its on stilts (y)

would recommend uprate shocks to with the stilo as when i went with eibach sportline on mine the suspension was so crashy, wouldn't bother with the pro line as you can hardly tell the difference :p

I usually hate the idea of modding, but Noel looks REALLY tidy & nicely done, well done fella :)

Don't think it needs lowering. The only advantage i can see is that it'll look lower. The standard ride height is fine as far as handling goes, if you struggle with a 3 door Stilo's standard handling set up then ur obviously pushing it too hard.

Plus by lowering it, if you later chose to sell it, you'd put off buyers unless theyre specifically looking for a modded example - the mods done so far are subtle enough not to put people off.

And, my standard height set up only just clears some speed humps & suchlike, so lowering it would cause a right headache on anything but perfect roads, ie limiting you to Motorways only!

Left pretty much as it is i think it looks good. (y)

mate jus lower it 40mm or sumit, £80 on venom for fk springs. Spray the spring black cos then wen u come to sell nobody will eva notice except ull have a mint lukin car nw for £80 mate well worth it.

Today took alloys off and painted the calipers :D

Rear wheel:





Was going to do them red but decided to be more suttle and paint them black. Thought there would be too much colour coding so :)

Thinking bout taking the jtd and stilo badge off the back but not sure.
