Grande Punto 'Starjet' My GPS - Update 02/10/08 (PICTURE HEAVY!)

Ok sooooooooo, back on topic after all the spam!!

Things have been pretty hectic lately so haven't done much but I did (prepares for abuse) manage to get the time to fit a cupra splitter so managed to get a few shots on the way back from work...I know a lot of people aren't keen but i'm pretty pleased with it considering it only cost 20 quid! hides that stupid rubber thing under the bumper anyway! you'll have to excuse the state of the car though cos she hasn't been washed for a week!

I pulled the rubber thing off. Half of it was hanging off anyways

it's been pissing me off since i had the car!!! so glad it can now no longer be seen!!!

Looks good Ed, nice one mate Definately blends better on the black GPs.

My rubber thing probably doesn't have much life left in it, it catches on every sodding speed bump and raised surface lol

thanks Si! Yeah I have to agree I definately think that they suit the black GP's more...but it's personal choice at the end of the day! It was the one on Adam's that finally swayed me!!! haha, i'm just glad you can't see mine anymore!

did your cupra splitter fit straight on or did you need to make some modifications to it?

you need to trim bits off, then heat it up and bend it.

yep, straight on dude...just held it there for a second a voila!

lol sorry, the middle bit goes on and lines up with the bottom of the grille lines perfectly...so i found that basically the easiest way to fit it was to hold the splitter in place by cable tying it in the middle...then screw that bit in, then screw out from the sides...and when I got towards the end i just cut the remnants off

I was at a ZSOC meet the other day and one of them couldn't resist snapping a few shots of a proper car so here's a couple of how she is at the moment
