My Mk1 Punto 60s

After the demise of my beloved Ax GT I bought a little 60 to keep me going until I could buy another Ax

Fourtunatly(sp?) I have fell in love with the little beast and have put a lot of effort into getting it running and looking right

Still not finished but in first stage after plenty of G3 and mopping action

Ive fitted 40mm lowering springs all round with new shocks and got some abarth cinq 13 wheels wacked on there.

Stage 2 plans:

Polsihed alu abarth wheels
white cheq roof
Bonnet bra
Finish making custom subrames for fitment of cinq sporting seats (gt seats in atm but broke)

1.2 16v engine transplant with GSR/RED DOT remap = 95-100hp

Nice and very shiney
arent car bras damaging to the paint if they are on permanently

don't like the wheels i'm afraid, got nothing against smaller wheels but punto needs 14's at least IMO.

As said though, very shiny!! need some clear side repeaters to match the front indicators.

like the car and love the wheels but they dont suit the punto in my opinion, why not drop a punto gt engine in there? also the sei sporting seats are alot better than the cinq sporing seat also they have the same sub frames as the cinq

Because the GT engine is a heap of s**t!. Will need a top end rebuild every 40k no matter how its driven or serviced. better off getting a 1242 16v and going the whole hog, GSR, Cams, all the head work, remap, supersprint exhaust. That could see 130bhp pretty easy would be a beast as well . Would probably save money too.
