My First Fiat Project Car

These are the pics I promised in the Newbie section. The story behind the car are @ the Newbie section In the "New fiat fan"

These are pics of the X1/9 in it's new home. I rescued it 4 days ago.

Those bumpers do take away from the beautiful body lines. I haven't decided if I should nix them since I have two soon to be teenage drivers coming up.
I could always tell them "don't hit anything"

This all is a new and exciting experience for me since I've mainly worked with american iron.
The red truck in the background is my daily driver....at a whopping 14 mpg

It will be a "labor of love" kind of project. To me it feels like a pet calling out for my attention....just so darn cute.

I gave the X1/9 a bath today....which it needed after sitting for 20+ years
The license plates expired in 1985 with 80,000 miles on the odometer.

I'm looking for a download of a manual that covers the 1976 X 1/9's.
