no sub :( just gay 6x9's

lol i need the boot space for work!!! I might invest in one of those under the seat jobs though...although the 6x9's aren't bad anyway (y)

She looks lovely mate, but get those wires tidy lol.

Really like what you've done so far, keep it up.

Tom

Thanks!! :D

Yeah, they could do with abit of a tidy! I'll do my best to get it sorted for AI Brooklands!! (y)

looks nice, think im going to have to upgrade my Headunit to one of those from my current alpine. 2nd HU in a year :( lol

thanks man...yeah they're really really good. I changed from my Pioneer with an iPod adaptor to this one to make sure I got the full speed control which makes a huuuuuuuuuuuge difference! They're only 200 from bass junkies aswell :D

Very nice man, I agree about the chrome looking good and I like the colour black on this. I agree with that the wires could be tucked or tidied away somehow but I love the ipod, I have an ipod nano and have been wanting to do this for quite a while. Could you explain again how this works? I have a Kenwood but don't think I have aux or ipod adaptor :(
Really nice car though mate, good job!

Thanks alot!! :D

I know the wires do need abit of a tidy up lol...you can't see them around the car though other than in the boot so shouldn't take too much time! (y)

Well there's loads of ways of doing it...if you just want to play music with no control then you could get an FM adaptor or just an aux in which plays whatever you manually select on your iPod as if using headphones...

Otherwise, if your headunit is compatible you should just be able to plug it in using USB and then you get full control. Some headunits require an extra adaptor...they're normally about 100 quid (i'm selling a pioneer one in the classified section), plug into the cd changer port and require power to them. Other headunits (this one being one of them) have built in iPod control and simply have a usb cable out the back of them. Its definately a useful MOD though. I don't have a cd player, i just carry my entire music collection with me :slayer:

Also good cos it means wen i want my iPod to take out with me i just take it out the car whilst i'm out and put it back in when i don't need it (y)

No problem at all man, deserves kudos :)

Yeah, I love it and the idea of having my whole music collection, that is on my ipod, in my car and able o select through the tracks and play it through the stereo using the ipod to control. At the moment my kenwood player does not have a aux slot and i do not have any adptor but I will have to look into getting something that you might be able to suggest to get this working, once and for all! :D

Thanks again.

After using one of these things i think they are absolutely useless. Its really worth buying the cable for your ipod off your headunit/ a ipod friendly headunit. I couldnt live without mine now.

I see, why are they absolutely useless?
Also came accross this Belkin wireless model, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Wireless-ipod-car-adaptor-Belkin_W0QQitemZ160234079822QQcmdZViewItem.

I'll have a look for the cable for my kenwood headunit but don't think I'll have any luck that way. Thanks!

People find the quality isn't as good and having to control the iPod manually is a huge pain and in our climate most probably illegal too...if worst comes to worst then they do the job but maybe buying a new iPod friendly headunit could help?

Not sure if any of these are what you are looking for?
