they are off of a mates 1.8 hlx as mine were fooked all laquer peeling not very nice looking so got rid

was thinkin bout painting them black, it has coilovers on back but cant do anything but springs on front cause dipstick that bought it got the factory fiat suspension upgrade. would need to replace hubs lower suspension arms to change fronts to coilovers huge ball ache lol:bang:
Polys either standard or colour coded both cool. Also a remap.

It has an MK2 grill.. A photo of the dashboard would show if it is a MK 1 or 2.
But for now I think it is a MK2.

right P plate is a 147. So can't be remapped you could get a chip though.
MK2 dash looks like this with the revs and speedo on circle dials.

So you can compare youre dash with the picture and if its the same you have a MKII but if it is a '97 then it can only be a MKI as standard.
The MKII are from '99 (don't now what plates as i'm from Holland ).

oh right na it dont have the digi odometer so it a mk 1 how come they cant be remapped ??
They have a completely different cylinder head and ECU. It's just an older engine that didn't have the option of being remapped. Nothing to stop you getting it chipped or a piggyback ecu fitted.

cheers beast what kind of gains should i see with a filter and straight through exhaust as i gonna de cat it after new gearbox fitted lol never ending
You will proberly be lucky to get more than 10BHP out of an induction kit and decat exhaust. However it will change the how freely the car revs making it feel more powerful and the sound will convince you that you have unleashed atleast another 50BHP.
