My 500's

Thought I'd buy a Fiat 500! but thought wrong actually bought two! Not in the best condition but nothing alittle TLC and ALOT of money won't sort out.
This is a 1972


And this is a 1968 which is twice as old as me! Got a funny look off the guy when i went to buy em!
Thought they were a bargin at £1400. Guna pick them up on saturday can't wait

Restoring both ones goin original the other like a "group n.2" If you don't know what that is then they look somthing like this



Can only find parts for the group n.2 in italy or germany though

Its call The Mini Forum, its where all mini enthusiasts go, just liek FF lol. Quite a few members on there are absolutely nuts, basicly building a vehicle from scratch with everything new and a massive pile of rust lol.

I'm rebuilding a 600, hopefully have a blog for it too. Your lucky, 500 parts are very easy to get in comparison.

Looks like a major project ! Its good that some people put so much effort in turning these old 'piles of rust' to there former glory instead of just leaving them to fade away . Good luck, cant wait to see more pics when you've finished.

I have six 500s and done the same 4 r done and will be starting the other 2 soon look at my cars.If you need help geting parts I can help as I deal with the a few garages and fiat Abarth specialist in Italy all the time thats where I get my cars and parts from.

a guy down the street from me used to have 1, but he sold it for a punto, i think nower days its a hard car to live with evrey day, after i FINALY restore my mk1 GTI i would love to do on of them!
