I was gonna remove it all 2gether but i thought id see wot this looked like first, yer they came off pretty easily but left horrible gluey sponge stuff, so i had to rub it for ages with hot soapy water

It depends what mark punt you got. I read about how easy it was to de-badge, so i did mine. Only prob is MK1's leave holes on the boot.:(

Welshboy, looking good [8D]

Looks great, like the punto on its own :D

98 Black cinq- standard except for usual sunstrip and debadging. Havent had it long so give me chance!

lol, i saw a white mk1 2day with 4 holes on the boot lid. I started to prise my bagde off 2day but then thought the paint underneath might look a bit different, so 'fiat' and 'punto' would still show up. I stupidly used a knife too and made scratched it a bit [xx(] im an idiot.

Oooooh nasty, all u need is a hair-dryer to heat up and soften the glue, then firmly but slowly push a credit card or think plastic behind it then pop it off, after u have done this it leaves behind a bit of glue, to remove this i used REALLY hot water and washing up liquid (altho i have been told about some sort of glue remover) and with a cloth jus firmly rubbed it off, the paint work undersneath is exactly the same as u can see in my foto's and there is no fiat or punto showin up heh

Nah ive havnt done the Active badges yet, had to go 2 work so didnt have time.
Unfortunately the Razors are are no go'er :(
needed the money for sumthin else, so now i gotta strat savin agen heh

just done mine this morning and left them totally off. they just peeled off easily just a bit of glue and i rubbed it off with my finger. looks way better now, active bagdes too.

why no razors [:0]

Looks cool mate, thought about doin that to mine but really couldn't be bothered with the hassle. Nice job!!!

2000 Punto, 3 door, HGT Abarth conversion!

I like that a lot - I'm now half tempted to get a Mk2 Punto badge and do that to my Mk1 but (a) initial debadging is a pain as it leaves holes to be filled & patched up, and (b) I don't think chrome badging would suit the look I'm going for on my car - maybe black would suit it better.

I think It'd look better completely de-badged but thats just my opinion. A least you didn't put your initials on or write your name on the back with some letters from halfords like a chav (y)
