My New Car...

Well after having loads of trouble with my Stilo, I've decided to cut my losses & get somting a different... Still a Fiat...

I originally went from a 52 plate Seicento SX - to a 05 Plate 1.2 Punto - to a 55 Plate Stilo 1.9 Sporting.

So here's my new little baby.

She's a Grande Punto 360 limited edition...

• Metallic paint
• 15" alloy wheels
• Air conditioning
• 60/40 split folding rear seats with third head restraint
• Limited-edition interior trim
• Body-coloured door mirrors
• Blue&Me™
• Radio/CD with steering wheel controls
• ABS with EBD
• Driver, passenger and front side airbags
• Electrically adjustable door mirrors
• Dualdrive™ electric power steering
• Electric front windows

Here's a few more pics to show her off.

What do you all think? James

Re: My New Car...

Not to bothered about performance, more interested in saving money to be honest. I wasnt using the diesel to its full potential. Its the 1.2, but very nippy. will have to learn to drive again tho, after going from a 1.9 to a 1.2

Re: My New Car...

i did like the stilo but in about 7 months of owning it, it must have been back to garage 8 times for various things. I just lost faith. And the offered me quite a good deal on this one. my insurance has been cut in 2 & i'll be getting more miles to th gallon so it was silly not too

more mpg .

i used to get about 40 to the gallon from the micra and that was a 80bhp 1.2, the stilo does me about 45-50mpg which is very decent.

what im spending in insurance (about 15 quid extra month), im almost saving in fuel

i know what you mean when you say the stilo is unreliable lol. in the 6 months ive had mine its been back 4 times to the dealers. but when its working its a brill car

good to see your sticking with fiat and hope the punto goes well for you

Re: My New Car...

Yeah its works out better for me, because i mainly use it for short journeys on 30/40 mile an hour roads i was only gettin 38 max, but when i've had grande puntos a few days at a time i'm gettin 42/43 so its slightly better. Plus petrol is cheaper than diesel. Also my insurance has come down from £440 to £220. Crazy

Re: My New Car...

insurance is crazy.

im paying 120 quid a month to insure the stilo, which i find quite cheap when they wanted more then that to insure me on a new shape 1.4 corsa club

and my car is a lot faster
