Stilo New front on my Stilo

Introduction

Just got my car back from the bodyshop so thought I would update you on the progress.

Had a schumacher bumper fitted and the new face-lift grill too. Calipers have been painted blue and ragazzon exhaust fitted on the rear. (y)

love the new bumper and the colour, not sure about the facelift grill, the silver contrasts quite a lot with the lower vents, im thinkin of going for a mesh one, though theyre about 50-70 sterling

Hi all, I have been to the local fiat dealer and cannot get that grill. They are total *****ers there, they dont even have a picture of the grills on their system and can only go off my cars registration and wont do it manually.
So if someone could get one and I will pay you for it I would be much appreciated thanks. pm me and I will pay for the postage us well.
many thanks

Well hammerite is the stuff most people use as its high temp paint and also if you touch your brakes after stopping the car you will find they don't get too hot so would be ok. Spray job though would cover them much better and nicer finish but you rarely see them up close and brake dust will soon cover them and dull them down even after a few cleans

Brake calipers have rubber fluid and dust seals in them so can't get desperately hot.

The discs/pads might be a different matter.. but even on discs the paintwork survives when you paint the centres. :)
