My Little Brabus Beasty

Introduction

Well im sure most of you wont care, and i'll probably be slagged off, but hey heres my new little toy which replaced the stilo
very nice!!

maybe not as practical as stilo, but a whole lot a fun?

the brabus show car twin engin'd job looks nice, but hopelessly assheavy!

I think 101 out of a 3cyl 698cc lump is plenty TBH, anymore and your gonna have to spend an absolute fortune! I'd leave it as is. but make it lighter:D maybe if you leave th cig lighter at home it may help!

I Love It!

Make sure you've got locking wheel nuts - the Brabus wheels cost £1700 new, and were common targets for theft.

As others have commented, gearchange is the weakest point on Smarts, though apparently on the Brabus it's a bit faster. Performance figures look poor on paper, but it's a car about having fun, and has a low centre of gravity, so shouldn't have to slow much through the twisties (y)
Smart had to revise the seals to sort some problems with leaks, but Matt's is a late one, so should be OK.

its things like those that put the Smart car apart from cars like the Mx-5 and MR2 :chin:

they are essential piece of kit for every Smart driver, you usually get them when you send off your masculinity, along with the V5 :p

watching a few u tube and google vids of the roadster's in action they seem to hold on quite well. but when the back end goes, your gonna spin:( well at least they make it look like that. since its got bugger all weight to it you can probably get away with a lot more.

10.7m turning circle on the Smart Roadster.
11.4m on the Fiat Coupe 20VT
The first time I pulled out of a tight junction in the coupe, and needed both sides of the road was when I realised how bad it was! And we didn't have those girly city buttons to help us on the 17-point turn! :p
