My First Detail.... Merc

Well today i finally got some products for me to have a play with, before this i just washed cars , everynow and then id have a play with some wax or polish lol. Nothing exciting.

Today i went out and brought some meguiars goodies....



I then Set to work on the car.

I started of giving it a soaking from a hose connection on sprinkel (or what ever it is lol).











Then i moved on to giving it a soak down with some car wash shampoo from my karcher (no pictures). Then a rinse of and another soaking in shampoo. I then used my mitt and washed down the whole care and then went on to give it a wash down with the pressure washer.

Then i proceeded to dry down the car with my new drying towel ( excellent it was, only the odd watermark due to runs and i loved the result, never used one before ) (no full car shots, just a bonnet one once i started to clay)



I did try getting soem shots of the swirls and that but the sun wasnt playing ball and nor was the halogen...... so obviosuly didnt work lol


so i then went on and got my clay out.... (i only clayed the bonnet due to time and it was my firsttime claying)

50/50 (obviously not to obvious lol)


Wax application.... (left hand side waxed in this shot. bonnet only waxed, due to not enough time lol)

Polish + Wax (i want the victoria collectors wax but cleanyourcar is out of stock atm lol)

anwyays thats my exciting afternoon. Probably will update with beading shots of bonnet if it works and also when i get the whole car done (in parts lol)
