Re: My new MR2 Turbo

happened on a saturday lunch time a couple of week ago.

me and girlfriend kate were nipping to the shops as she wanted to take something back to primark. was 1 minute from kates house and was going round a long sweeping bend, not sharp or anything, a bend id been round a million times, was doing about 50mph off boost and in 4th as the engine was stone cold as we'd only just set off. it had just snowed a bit, but no snow was on the road, was damp tho, but the car felt fine going round the corner. then halfway round the corner, while chatting to kate about which other shops she wanted to go to, the back end went. totally unexpected. couldnt belive it. got opposite lock on straight away but it was too late it was sliding towards some bushes. the bushes luckily spun us round just in time to go backwards into a tree! the car looks perfectly fine except the boot lol! airbags didnt go off. by the time we hit the tree alot of speed had been shrugged off, but the 200sx's crumple ever so easily at the rear, and with an impact speed of about 15mph directly backwards into a tree, u end up with the picture above!

neither of us were injured, both just got out fine.

the most annoying thing about it is the fact i was driving like a normal human being.
if i was dicking about, being a prat then i could accept it

ahh well, i'll just buy a R34 gtr next time lol

do you mean 15mph or 5mph? as 50 seems a bit extreme

Re: My new MR2 Turbo

nope, i mean i was doing 50mph. Its a JCway, so obviously 70mph road. I was only doing 50mph as i was only pootling along! the road was only wet, there wasnt loads of snow about.

when we hit the tree we were prob doing about 15mph

yeah i know what you mean. its just really bad luck mate, there is nothing you can do to avoid it or be prepared for it, when your luck runs out things go horribly wrong very quickly.
